Drain patch lining is a smart, trenchless technology designed to repair localised damage within your drainage system. Instead of digging a trench to expose the faulty section of pipe, we work entirely from existing access points like manholes. Here’s how it works: first, we use our CCTV drain survey cameras to pinpoint the exact location and nature of the damage – be it a crack, a small hole, or a displaced joint in your pipes. Once identified, a specially cut fibreglass mat, pre-soaked in a durable, quick-curing resin, is wrapped around an inflatable packer. This packer is then carefully inserted into the pipe and positioned precisely over the damaged area. We then inflate the packer with air pressure, pressing the resin-soaked patch firmly against the inside of the existing pipe wall. After the resin cures and hardens – which typically takes just a few hours – the packer is deflated and removed, leaving behind a strong, watertight, and structural repair within your drain. It effectively creates a new pipe section within the old one, restoring integrity without the disruption of digging. This process is suitable for a complete range of pipe diameter sizes, for both straight sections and even some bends.
